Mission Statement:
Garfield’s Girls Build LA Team hopes to empower the students of the East Los Angeles community and reinforce the unity of our undocumented peers. In the wake of Donald Trump’s presidency, many concerns have risen for students not born in this country. The goal of Garfield’s team is to bring awareness to these concerns and offer free legal help by contracting lawyers and hosting DACA informational events.
